Clean up your db from blacklisted addresses

ContactLab blacklist is a powerful instrument for e-mail deliverability improvement, because it automatically stops the sending to no more valid or wrong e-mail addresses. We have recently reviewed our blacklisting policies in order to conform to the providers new anti spam criteria.

When you have an e-mail dispatch, if there are some blacklisted accounts among the addressees, they are blocked so that the message is not sent to them. But those accounts still remains physically in your database. This means that in the delivery’s report, you will have a certain number of “blacklisted” e-mails. Some clients have a quite big blacklist, so their statistics are negatively influenced by them.

Now you can delete all blacklisted email accounts by using the “Clean Data” tool. In the next release of this tool you will be able to delete unsubscribers as well.

Even if it’s still a beta version, many clients are already evaluating this tool. You can find it in every database control panel, in section Settings > Users Database. If it wasn’t set for your user yet, you could ask Customer Service and request your activation (no additional charges!). We can also give you all the informations and advices you need.
